1. Acceptance

By accessing or using allegedlynew.shop ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply worldwide.

2. The Service

allegedlynew is a peer-to-peer classifieds marketplace. We provide a platform for users to post and respond to listings. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any listing.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate information when signing up
• One person may only hold one account

5. Prohibited content & conduct

You may not use the Service to post, sell, or facilitate:

• Illegal items or services in your jurisdiction or the buyer's jurisdiction
• Counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulently obtained goods
• Weapons, controlled substances, or dangerous materials
• Adult content involving minors
• Spam, scams, phishing, or misleading listings
• Content that harasses, threatens, or discriminates against others
• Malware, viruses, or harmful code

We reserve the right to remove any listing or account that violates these rules without notice.

6. Listings

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listings
• Listing descriptions must not be misleading
• Prices must be in a real currency and reflect the actual asking price
• You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your listing content on the Service

7. Transactions

allegedlynew does not process payments between buyers and sellers for item purchases — those are handled directly between parties. Payments to allegedlynew (e.g. for promoted listings) are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. All sales are final unless otherwise agreed between the parties.

8. Magnet rewards programme

• Magnet points have no cash value unless redeemed through the official rewards page
• Points may only be earned through legitimate gameplay — any attempt to manipulate or exploit the rewards system will result in account termination and forfeiture of points
• We reserve the right to adjust point values, conversion rates, or discontinue the programme at any time with 30 days' notice
• Redeemed store credit is non-transferable and expires after 12 months of inactivity

9. Promoted listings

Promotion fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable once a promotion has started. If a listing is removed for violating these Terms, no refund will be issued for any remaining promotion period.

10. Intellectual property

The allegedlynew name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of content you post, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the Service.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of user-generated content.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, allegedlynew shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages from transactions between users. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold allegedlynew harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your listings will be removed and any unused store credit will be forfeited.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. For users in the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition to these Terms. For disputes, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@allegedlynew.shop — we will try to resolve issues informally within 30 days.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will give at least 14 days' notice for material changes via email or a site notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
